To coach or assist in running one or more groups for our club swim team.  Assist the Head Coach and the Head Age Group Coach in day-to-day operations of the team as needed.  Work with the Head Coach and the Head Age Group Coach in developing a seasonal plan, writing daily workouts, and daily on-deck coaching responsibilities as determined by the Head Coach.

Education/Certification:
Eighteen years or older

Current USA Swimming (USAS) Coach Certified

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Mentally and physically fit

Genuine enthusiasm for working with athletes of all ages (5-18)

Capable of responding calmly in emergency situations

Experience:
Previous competitive club / interscholastic / college swimming experience (preferred)

Previous coaching and/or advanced swim lesson instruction experience

Competitive swimming experience

Maintain current safety training and USA Swimming certifications.

Attend all required meetings.

Maintain accurate daily attendance rosters.

Effective and professional communication with athletes, parents, and other USAS staff.

Ability to write a seasonal plan for multiple training groups.

Ability to write age and ability-specific daily workouts.

Attend meets in which club swim team athletes are entered.

Other duties as assigned to aid in the efficient and safe operation of the Frisco ISD Natatorium and Training Pool.
