Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of student records while performing data entry, including Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data. Provide data support to the Continuous Improvement and Teaching and Learning Departments to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Some college preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Strong skills in personal computer use, email communication, and project management
Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, reporting systems, and word processing documents
Experience in student records management including transcripts, enrollment, transfers, attendance, and grades
Ability to meet established deadlines in a multitasking environment
Effective organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Self-sufficient problem solver
Experience
High School Data Clerk/Registrar experience preferred
Minimum of one year of experience entering and tracking data, preferably in a public education environment
Manage, verify, and audit grades for Rail Programming.
Input and communicate relevant data (transcript, grades) to support campus processes.
Manage and audit student enrollment in the Accelerate program.
Manage online and manual payments.
Create and maintain physical and computerized summer school enrollment and withdrawal records.
Audit data and information systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Verify and manually update student summer school courses and information.
Generate certificate of completion for out-of-district summer students.
Create and maintain physical and computerized records such as report card grades, attendance, class rosters, grade books, and schedule changes if applicable for existing, new, and transfer students.
Generate periodic and ad-hoc reports for Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to support school improvement initiatives.
Audit and track progress on system error reports to monitor campus error tracking improvements.
Distribute MTSS reports to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with student privacy regulations.
Support the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) process, including reporting on National Board Certification notifications, reimbursements, and teachers’ eligibility.
Prepare and print reports including demographic, attendance, grades, scheduling, and transcript information.
Manage transcripts including credits, grades, and class rank, as well as new and student transfer information.
Interact with other third-party software such as career readiness software and college admissions processing of transcripts.
Maintain confidentiality.
Assume responsibility for acquiring the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for fulfilling responsibilities.
Ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
Maintain detailed documentation of all processes to ensure accuracy and continuity.
