Under general supervision, assist in coordinating, purchasing, and inventory of a variety of parts for Child Nutrition Program kitchen equipment. Maintain parts room, coordinate and control inventory program, pickup and deliver parts upon request, and see that all parts are charged to the proper accounts using a computerized maintenance management system.
Education/Certification:
High School diploma or GED
Clear and valid Texas driver’s license
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy
Ability to perform mathematical calculations
Experience working with software applications in use at Frisco ISD including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), GoogleDocs, Google sheets, Eduphoria, and database application
Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
Ability to use hand and power tools
Ability to work independently
Ability to be flexible with work hours
Experience:
2 years of experience in kitchen knowledge and equipment preferred
3-5 years experience in administrative support position preferred
Previous customer service experience
Promote participation in Frisco ISD Child Nutrition Programs through developing positive professional relationships with all Frisco Independent School District staff.
Assist in the equipment, equipment parts purchasing, inventory, and distribution in support of Frisco ISD Child Nutrition Program.
Coordinate equipment and material requirements for the Frisco ISD Child Nutrition Program.
Locate and maintain sources for equipment parts; communicate with equipment vendors for parts availability and quote inquiry.
Review and ensure that written specifications for supplies, materials, and equipment conform to good and accepted procurement standard practices.
Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in a timely manner.
Receive, count, and inspect equipment materials to ensure accurate quantity and quality.
Store and issue a variety of equipment parts; process requests for parts room items via computer.
Make periodic inventory counts of parts room items to ensure proper identification and re-supply needs.
Prepare reorder requests.
Maintain the equipment parts room in a clean and orderly fashion and in accordance with standards accepted by warehouse procedures.
Maintain records, memos, letters, and related documentation on equipment and hazardous materials.
Responds to any emergency situations if needed.
