Primary Purpose

To stop traffic and safely escort students from one location to another.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills:  
Capable of responding calmly in emergency situations
Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English

Flexible and open to schedule change
Positive and encouraging person who is able to maintain a good relationship with FISD staff and public

Must be willing to complete 4 hour training class

Major Responsibilities and Duties

Stop traffic to escort students across the street.

Complete traffic counts each semester.

Report traffic problems to Frisco Police Department.

Other Duties as Assigned

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control. Prolonged standing, reaching, and repetitive hand and arm motions.  Work outside.  Moderate exposure to extreme temperature and vehicle fumes.
